Some Frequently Asked Questions

These are just a few common questions that you may be asking yourself. If there is anything else that you would like to know or are concerned about, please contact me and I will answer any queries you have.

Are you insured?

Yes. I have full public liability insurance for any service that I undertake. I also have personal liability insurance too.

What area does Let’s Go Walkies cover?

Haverhill, Suffolk and surrounding villages within a 10 mile radius. If you live outside of this area, please contact us to see if we can come to some arrangement. A travel surcharge may apply.

Is there a minimum number of dog walks per week?

No. How and when you want your dog(s) walked is up to you.

Do you cater for aggressive dogs?

Unfortunately not due to insurance reasons, and personal and public safety. Unsociable dogs (as opposed to aggressive) dogs can be catered for, please contact me for more details.

What if it rains, snows, or there are other bad weather conditions?

Don’t worry about the weather, I will still be out in it. However, if I cannot get to you due to poor driving conditions I will call as soon as possible to rearrange.  If you cancel because of the weather with less than 24 hours notice, I reserve the right to charge the full price for the service. 

What would happen in an emergency?

I will have your contact details and those of your vet (which I will collect when you make a booking) and so you will be notified immediately and I will follow your instructions. If I cannot contact you, I will try another contact on the form or use my initiative.

How much notice do you require?

Book early to avoid dissapointment - especially for the Doggy Day Out and Home Boarding. But just give me a call in any event and I'll see if I can fit you in.

Can references be supplied?

Of course, please look at the references page. This is where I will add references on a regular basis. If you would like a hard copy, please contact me and I will send you one.

What do I do now?

If you are interested in one of our services and would like to book, please contact me to let us know. We can discuss what it is you really want from Let's Go Walkies and from here, we will arrange an initial visit so I can familiarise myself with the pets and get to know everyone. I will also ask you to complete a Customer Information Form. This is a short form with all the necessay contact details on. We can then book dates to provide the service(s).
