A little bit about myself

***Playtex® Moonwalk, London Hyde Park, Saturday 16 May 2009, Midnight!***

I have recently completed the Playtex Moonwalk. A 26 mile walk around London from midnight in a pink bra!  Ok, so you may be thinking I'm slightly mad, but I raised £1,000 for breast cancer charity walkthewalk, so it was for an excellent cause.  Thank you to everyone who sponsored me and to all your dogs who helped me train and kept telling me "You can do it Lisa!"

My name is Lisa Rice and I decided to set up this new service after walking a friend’s dogs for a few years. I love walking and getting out in the countryside - in fact, I have been know to get carried away and end up getting lost!  But don't worry, your dogs love spending hours roaming though the fields! I have always had a close bond with animals and instantly fall in love with them, they are well and truely spoilt whenever they come to stay with me or come out for a walk.  I treat them as if they were my own. This, along with my bubbly, energetic nature, makes this business so rewarding.

Whilst the dog walking was my primary aim when I started the business, during the past year, many customers have ask about our Home Boarding service. This has been really well received by my clients and many have come back time and time again. I have a dog-friendly household and my entire family love the dogs. I thought about getting another one myself, but now I don't need to - I just look after everyone else's! This is much more fun. We get to meet new characters every time and each one of them has a different quality. I really love having them here and so do my family: My partner, Den and my three boys, Brad, Sam & Max (two of which are now at University, but still muck in when they're back home).

Understandably you may be a little sceptical at first. Leaving your pets with a complete stranger or giving them the keys to your house to look after your pets requires a lot of trust. I would feel exactly the same. This is why I have supplied references from previous customers, please click here to see some of my satisfied customers so far. Written references are available on request as well and I always insist on meeting you and your pets before I carry out any service - this puts both your mind and mine at ease.
